I had breast cancer when I was 35 and I survived. My sister-in-law has had two occurrences of breast cancer, she survived and introduced me to Mel’s bracelet. My first cousin fought breast cancer for 4 years in the 1990s, and lost the battle. She was younger than I am and I was devastated. I have purchased multiple bracelets and always have one on hand to give out. A month ago, my husband was diagnosed with stage 4A mantle cell lymphoma, accredited to his exposure to Agent Orange in Viet Nam. He/we have been accepted into a clinical trial at Dana Farber and are awaiting a start date. The waiting is difficult. I think it’s time for a new bracelet, one with crystals, if you are still making them.
