I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and awaiting the journey set for me…I was so touched by the story I read in the delta sky magazine, that I decided to look into the site when I got home. Mel was truly loved by her friends and I hope and pray that my journey will be filled by the same love from friends and family and I know I will beat this.I found out on a mammogram and it was really early, so I would like to encourage everyone to get a mammogram regularly if not yearly and make sure you get to know your body, As women we all need to stand together..and take charge of our health. Our risks for breast cancer increase as we age,so go get a mammogram and make an appointment with your doctor…tomorrow would be a good time.
