The Art of Living - Life Beyond Cancer
The Art of Living - Life Beyond Cancer is a conference for people facing life after cancer treatment.
We are only 3 weeks away from our first conference for cancer survivors and caregivers at the Marriott Hotel in Quincy, MA and we could not be more excited! This conference, The Art of Living - Life Beyond Cancer will feature many informational sessions on relevant topics such as fitness plans for cancer survivors, maintaining relationships after cancer, managing the emotional impact of cancer and many others.
This conference will feature morning keynote speaker Dr. Julie Silver from Harvard Medical School. Her topic, Super Healing: Maximizing Your Physical and Emotional Recovery will offer advice for cancer survivors at all stages of recovery. The lunch keynote speaker, well-known inspirational humorist, Mikki Williams, will motivate attendees while making them laugh-out-loud.
Attendees will have the chance to ask our diverse panelists questions at the end of the day. A reception hour will follow where there will be the opportunity for cancer survivors and caregivers to network and share their experiences.
In between workshop sessions, individuals will have the possibility to indulge in a relaxing massage by a certified massage therapist specialized in cancer rehabilitation. A Barnes & Noble bookstore will also feature our speakers’ books and other recommended readings for purchase.
There will be plenty to do and experience at The Art of Living - Life Beyond Cancer conference. You can help by sharing this information with family, friends, and colleagues who have dealt with a cancer diagnosis. The conference is open to all cancer survivors and there is still time to register! Please visit www.friendsofmel.org/the-art-of-living-conference to register and learn more information. We look forward to seeing you there!
